Laynewood Farm and Produce is located five miles west of Wytheville off Highway 11. At the farm, you’ll find Alvin Cassell growing a wide variety of fruits and vegetables using drip irrigation, a sustainable irrigation method. They have many different items for sale; specialties are sweet corn, watermelon and cantaloupe. These items are for sale at the Abingdon farmers market, but Alvin also takes call-ins at the farm.
